Review by hotel critic
During our recent family vacation, we had the pleasure of staying at Sant Joan de Binissaida, a serene retreat set in the hills of Menorca. The location was ideal, providing easy access to the harbor for swimming and a peaceful atmosphere to unwind. Our spacious room, separate from the main building, offered delightful privacy while still keeping us connected to the family-friendly ambience. The hotel's commitment to local produce was evident in their breakfast selection, with fresh fruits, homemade yoghurt, and delicious local honey. The kids particularly enjoyed the gluten-free options, as the staff kindly prepared special rolls for our family. We took advantage of various activities, such as the Bini Night, where we enjoyed live music and cocktails, creating lasting memories as we danced together as a family. While the pool was a highlight, especially with the engaging water ballet class, we noted that expanding the vegetarian options on the lunch and dinner menus would appeal to younger guests as well. Sant Joan offered a lovely family getaway, combining relaxation with the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of Menorca.
